About
I started writing in the back of a Chicago steakhouse.
My mom was the lounge singer. I was a vegetarian who entertained the wait staff with original napkin puppet shows. My love of storytelling stuck. I’ve partnered with agencies and major brands in hospitality and tech for over ten years, doing everything from leading voice and tone rebrands to writing scripts that turn complex ideas into conversations.
In 2025, I published my debut novel, The Second Chance Cinema, through Simon & Schuster/Atria. It was chosen as a Book of the Month selection for October, made the longlist for the Reading the West Awards, and received a starred review from Library Journal, which called it “a captivating, cozy tale.” My second book will be released in 2027.
I live with my family and longhaired dachshund in a mid-century ranch. I love going to the movies, hate mushrooms, and can recite Where the Wild Things Are from cover to cover. When it comes to fiction, I’m endlessly drawn to smart characters with deep flaws—and a touch of magic.

I published The Second Chance Cinema and partnered with Atria’s publicity and marketing teams for launch, completed my second manuscript (which will release in 2027), and maintained select freelance copy clients during the writing and editing process.
July 2021 – April 2024
Senior Copywriter | Critical Mass (Airbnb team)
I wrote copy for a rebranded stream of global customer emails with 55-61% open rates for an audience of 48M+. My data-driven creative for Airbnb’s twice-annual releases and AirCover (Airbnb’s host protection program) was reviewed up to the CEO level. I also handled content strategy for a new editorial team using SEO best practices.
April 2019 – July 2021
Senior Copywriter | Evolve
I led the voice and tone portion of a B2C rebrand and crafted the first touchpoints for the new brand, presenting the work directly to the C-suite and implementing complex feedback. I was the lead writer working on site copy, video scripts, UX copy, creative editorial, and more.
May 2018 – April 2019
Senior Copywriter | Bluprint (NBCUniversal)
I defined voice and tone for a rebrand while mentoring the work of three other writers. I also wrote UX copy that guided users through the sign-up process and into the product.
September 2013 – May 2018

I began scriptwriting for major automotive and telecommunications brands before expanding into brand voice and tone guidance, UX copywriting, naming, site copy, email, and other strategic creative. This period included on-site roles at All Boats Rise (creative agency) and Princess Cruises.
